Depression is comparable to darkness as shown in this image. A depressed individual dwells within this darkty restricted environment. His brain function is switched to perceiving solely limited negative illusive images.

The final result entails emotional paralysis and a desire for detachment from his dark sad world.

A mirror can not tell a lie.

I do not enjoy shopping.

It reminds me of my dress size.

It hurts to feel being obese.

I looked different back home in Africa

I never felt concerned about my body image.

I was thin and well conditioned.

Now I live abroad in America.

I am surrounded by an overflow of food.

I wonder why there should be hunger in this country.

Wherever I go I am followed by food.

Food is deregulating my rational instinct of eating.

There is sugar in everything I eat.

It feels like there is a habit forming element in everything I taste.

TV is my close friend. TV wants me to sit, all the time, on the coach

It communicates with my craving center of the brain.

It urges me to eat more and more

It tells me not to move or exercise.

I feel guilty of eating excessively.

I feel guilty of not exercising.

I feel tired and exhausted after work.

Is there any place better than my coach to rest.

That is how my day ends.

I am young and I appear physically healthy.I have breast cancer.I feel separated from the joy of life and living.I feel I am closer to the finale of my life cycle.I feel I am closer to the gate that opens to another world. I wished I cherished more my life earlier.I wished I were considerate to all living creatures on earth.I wished I cared and respected more my parents. I wished I were more attentive and caring to my family.

My doctor became the core of my hope.

My doctor became a member of my family.

Beside Lord, my doctor became the second savior.

He recommended me having a radiation treatment.

I am afraid of undergoing such treatment.

I heard it kills the cancer cells.

I heard also it kills the healthy cells.

NIGHT TERROR IN CHILDREN

We came to the land of opportunity.We were airlifted from Refugee Campus. . Terror and hostility dominated our life.It feels as if it was in a remote past.

My daughter today felt threatened.

It felt as if she was sleep and awake.

It felt as if he was seeing a dreadful scene.

She was screaming for help.

She was screaming out of fear.

Her hands were raised.

Was she protecting herself?

We came to rescue her.

It felt as if there was a wall between us.

It felt as if she was hallucinating.

She was unresponsive but awake.

All of a sudden she ceased screaming.

There was a peace on her face.

She fell back to sleep.

The following day run its routine course.

My daughter is happier than ever.

She could not recollect anything.

Does she need a psychiatrist’s consult!

Is this a sleep version of PTSD?

TETANUS

It is an abnormal posture elicited by severe spasm of the axial muscle along the spinal column. Such posture is linked to tetanus and it predicts imminent death.

Tetanus is caused by bacteria called clostridium tetani. It is a gloabl health problem since the spores of these bacteria are ubiquitous. Tetanus occurs almost exclusively in person who are unvaccinated or inadequately immunized.

The clinical manifestation of tetanus was mentioned by Hypocrates more than 2000 years ago. Tetanus does not spread from person to person. There were numerous reports of incidences of tetanus as a result of female genital cutting. Such occurrences were linked to the use of non sterile, contaminated with these bacteria instruments.

Why parents should allow Female Genital Cutting of their loved ones !

Are they really aware of such a complication like tetanus? Are they conscentious about the fatality of such complication?

Do not ignore that death occuring as a result of FGM is a crime committed by parents. It has to stop.

ELEPHANTHIAIS My leg is swelling and growinG in size. The skin over it is thickening. It feels as if someone pumped fluid into it. I feel my leg quite heavy. I am experiencing diffficulties with my ambulation. I have to drag it to be able to walk and keep my balance. Am I an unfortunate victim of witchcraft! My friend is a medical assistant. He suggested me to see a specialist. He explained to me that my leg swelling is caused by parasitic worms. They tend to harbor the lymphatic system. They tend to obstruct this pipe like fluid system. Due to thii elicited lymphatic obstruction, the fluid in this pipe tube is unable to move freely up and down along my leg. MEDITATION & HEALING Stress is a barrier to the experience of joy. An imagined or fantasized sense of relaxation is an Invisible energy that can elicit the vanishing of stress Thereafter stress will transform into an inert force. It will then allow the joy to flourish. Stress harbors all human beings. It carries a virulent pathogen that can affect Multiple organs and systems of the human body. It may cause damage to a healthy heart. It may cause chemical imbalance to a normal human brain. It changes the normal immunogenicity of human organs and systems into a weak vulnerable to invasion of virulent pathogens. I have learned how to win a stress. By the end of my hard working day, as stress sticks to my body, I clean him off by taking a warm shower I shut my mind and liberate my emotions from its negative influence. At times I take a hot tub, close my eyes and fantasize I am on the colorful beaches of East African coast. By travelling there, pleasant memories are retrieved from my brain. My body just relaxes automatically and my evening hours are salvaged from the harmful impact of stress. The next day I repeat the same regimen and therefore now stress keeps far away from me. I heard a Greek Myth saying that I look like Hermaphroditus. It says that I am the son of Hermes and Aphrodite. A Nymph called Salmacis threw herself at me. She entangled me in an erotic embrace. She prayed that we become conjoined for life. Thus we merged into a single body. Since then I retained features of both gender. I am used to my genital appearance. I feel I am a beautiful version of the nature’s Gift of life. That is why I am a mystical legend. That is why I am the top talk of the world’s genealogical history. OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE I am healthy My emotional being is well balanced. My memory is intact. I trust the reflective image of self in a mirror Mirror is not deceptive. I am healthy I am composed of inseparable parts of a being My unconscious being is part of me. It feels as if it travels when I am sleep. It is the nature’s intent to provide rest to humans I communicate with my conscious being It regulates my emotional tones. It controls the status of my memory.
