Labor Contractions
LABOR CONTRACTIONS
Contractions of the uterus in a pregnant woman reflect readiness of the unborn child to come to light and join the flow of the universal life cycle. These contractions involuntarily initiate and follow the rule governing human evolution.
In some parts of Africa the uterine cavity is compared to an empty vessel facing upside down. Therefore the birth of a newborn evidently occurs by the phenomenon of gravitational force as shown in this image.
An unborn child finds hard to survive in a relatively shrinking uterine environment coupled with diminishing availability of nutrition.
The only option, for the unborn child, then would be to come out to a bright new world e.g. be delivered.
Uterine contractions are painful. The excitement of having a new born baby in the family attenuates the severity of the painful contractions. Pain is perceived differently in different cultures. In Africa management of pain during delivery is simple.
“Accept pain as a natural rule of having a baby” No pain meds are given.
