Illusion

ILLUSION

The retina of my eyes is capturing messages from the garden of flowers
My mind is transmitting to my awareness the content of these messages.
My mind is also analyzing with scrutiny the messages forwarded by the retina.
I am realizing that there are beautiful, fatigued and exahausted flowers facing the ground.
My creative mind is telling me that that there are people on this beautiful flowering tree.
Can it be real. If We say Yes then for sure we are hallucinating. What about admitting that the mind is misreading a reality in this beautiful garden.

Suicide
Mental Disorder

In Afrika suicide due to hate, racial or religious affiliation is a new phenomenon.
Political and economic instablity had created a wave of new religious movements imported from neighboring countries. These movement carrying new regressive and hostile messages penetrated deep into the minds of naive susceptible individuals.
Such messages under the umbrella of mal interpeted religion convey racial and religious intolerances. Young unemployed and illiterate individuals are the main targets for propogation of such prophecies and theologies. Illegal drugs or merchandise traffiking raise the fund for sustainance of the such movements. Inadvertently innocent civilians turn to be the victims of such suicide acts.
What runs in the minds of these young individuals is difficult to explain. Life is a gift of our Creator. Human cannot and should not decide your right to live. Killing people through suicide bombing has no logial or ethical ground in the theologies of any religion on earth. There must be an underlying mental or psychologial disorder to justify killing human being. Killing is a crime.

Primitive Instincts

PRIMITIVE INSTINCTS

Some of he primitive instincts that are unlikely to extinguish in humans are the followings:
1. Eating
2. Sexual Desire

Sexual desire persevere to geriatric age even in the presence of Dementia or Alzheimer's disease where degenerative changes of the brain occur.
There have been reports where patients with Alzheimer's raped their spouses.
Are such conducts normal! Caregivers and family members feel frustrated
Doctors are mazed about requests by such patients for sexual potency enhancers
vs essential medications for their chronic disabling conditions.

Causes of PTSD include terror, violence, rape, domestic violence, traumatic bodily harms like Female Genital Mutilation. There is a wide spectrum of symptoms incurred in this disorder such as flashback episodes of the event, repeated upsetting memories, feeling of detachment from the event, lack of interest in normal activities, despair, hyperlvigilance, outburst of anger, insomnia, anhedonia, lack of sexual arousal, fluctuating mood, depression and even suicidal attempts.
PTSD is quite common among displaced refugees who were exposed to such threats.

Illness in Primive Culture

Illness in Primitive Culture

In primitve culture illness was perceived as a curse, a divine punishment for inadvertently violating a moral code and affliction by an evil spirit. Such believes had survived up to this date in Afrika. There was a common consensus about the care of patients afflicted by evils spirits in different regions of the world. Healers ( witchdoctors, shamans ) took a medical history streamlined to the nature of moral violations. They could consult the Gods sometimes while in trance to discover which spirit was casting the spell. If the patient's soul were lost, had it wondered to some remote areas or did it inhabit someone else. Treatment could be complicated, involving ceremonies, chants, dances, mystical signs, charms and fetishes. The point of the healing rites was to drive put evil spirit, call back a lost spirit and reward the offended god.
+ In this image the evil spirits are under the water reppresented by scary appearing human faces. In Afrika, there are people still influenced by such credence and indeed they keep practicing this primitive culture.
