This is one of the series of images I am devoting to drug addiction.Marijuana is one of the most abused substance in the world.It is mind altering. It has been used for achieiving eupohria since ancient times. It has been known to Chinese as... back as to 2500 BC. The Muslims also used Marijuana as the Alcohol was banned by Koran. From China it spread to India, Middle East, North Africa and then Europe. In the USA it is illegal the use of Marijuana by Federal Law.

There are few States that made Marijuana legal for recreational use.

From medical point of view Marijuana is addictive. Peopl who abuse marijuana are more prone to abuse of other more potent illicit drugs such as opiates and psychotropic drug.   Marijuana causes short time memory loss. It raises heart rates and may cause chest pain and lung conditions.It has the same cancerogenic ingredients like the ones present in nicotine.
