DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN She is abused and kept hostage by the husband. Her voice is very faint. It cannot reach beyond the door. She is silenced by fears and avoidance of serious threats of bodily harm. Her children are terrorized by the violent behavior of the father.
