I got sick with wheezes and cough
My doctor said it were severe asthma.
He prescribed me a magic medication.
It relieved my respiratory distress.
I kept taking it continuously.
My face started to look like a " full moon " shape.
I started gaining weight and developing purple stretch marks on my belly.
My skin was thinning to a degree that it was easily bruising.
Hairs started growing on some of my body just like men do.
My regular menstrual periods were becoming rare and scanty.
I was becoming weak and sexually anhedonic.
I was experiencing diabetic like symptoms such as frequent urination and feeling thirsty.
I went back worried to my treating doctor.
Her explained to me that I have developed Cushing's syndrome.
He linked my condition to the use of steroids that were given
to ease my breathing.
