CHILD PROTECTION
Children are the most vulnerable members of society that are exposed to the threats of physical, emotional abuses, domestic violence, environmental health hazards , preventable accidents, preventable spread of communicable diseases and etc.
An adults evolutionary instinct to protect his offspring spans across all primates. This congenital instinct ca be altered and influenced by the presence of serious mental impairment that impair perception, cognition and intelligence. Episodes of an adults negligence in the care of his or her children may stem from the effects of severe psychosocial stress.
