Counseling

COUNsELING Acquisition of medical knowledge and clinical skills does not necessarily infer a successful medical practice. The outcome of healing a patient is incumbent on a physician's compassion, empathy, care, tolerance, flexibility, knowledge of cross cultural medicine and ability to do counseling. In some part of the world counseling is the only available strategy for symptom amelioration of mental distress. The ultimate goal of counseling is healing. Mohamed Osman, MD Physician & Artist
