Rheumatoid Arthritis

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS It Is a chronic disabiling inflammatory disorder that may affect many tissues and organs, but principally attacks the joints. About 1% of the world's population is afflicted by rheumatoid arthritis, women three times more often than men. Onset is most frequent between the ages of 40 and 50, but people of any age can be affected The first known traces of rheumatoid arthritis are from around 4500 B.C. Clearly the history of rheumatoid arthritis goes way back, and it could even be possible that it has been plaguing mankind since humanity’s inception. It is unfortunate that even after such a long period of suffering that there is little knowledge about the causes of rheumatoid arthritis, and we have yet to discover a cure Mohamed Osman, Physician & Artist
