Dementia

Dementia

Dementia is a cognitive impairment the hallmark of which is loss of memory. Memory is narrative language that describes present or past experiences. It is interesting to point out that in Dementia remote past experiences are somehow intact but the ability to acquire new experience is lost. Dementia is linked to loss of brain cells as tentatively expressed in this image.
